However, in the subsequent 9 games, he was sluggish with 5 losses and an average ERA of 6.65 without a win. His first year in 15 games was 4-5 with an ERA of 4.46. T메이저놀이터 he following year, he suffered greatly with an ERA of 18.26 in 4 games and 1 loss, and in February 2021, he was traded for infielder Federico Polanco and moved to the New York Mets.

Even in the 2021 Mets, he only appeared in two games (1 win, 1 loss, 4.05 ERA) due to a shoulder injury. Last year, he stayed in the minor leagues. He struggled with a 6.00 earned run average with 3 wins, 2 losses and 2 saves in 24 games in high single-A, double-A and triple-A.

Yamamoto, who was released as a free agent after the season, will try again with a minor league contract with the Dodgers. The Dodgers is a team that knows how to make use of pitchers whose skills have declined due to injuries or sluggishness. It could also be a good opportunity for Yamamoto.
