In the late 2010s, Korean mixed martial arts powerhouse Hong Seong-chan (34) tried again to join the UFC, which he failed to achieve at the time.

UFC, the world’s No. 1 organization, launched Road to UFC in 2022, an Asian mixed martial arts prospect contest that qualifies winners of tournaments by weight category.

The 2023 Road to UFC kicks off on May 27 at the China Performance Institute Shanghai. Hong Seong-chan will play against Longju (23, China) in the lightweight (-70 kg) quarterfinals.

Longju is aiming for a return to the UFC this season through Road to UFC. I want to make up for the regret that the contract with the UFC, which advanced to the 2021 Chinese tournament’Wu Linfeng’ lightweight champion, ended with 1 win and 2 losses. 먹튀검증

During his time in the UFC, Lungju won a 3rd round TKO victory over former US Caged Aggression champion Brandon Jenkins (32). From Mglebi (Georgia) champion Aleko Sagliani to Colosseum (Russia) champion Ruslan Heyrulin (28), after his mixed martial arts debut, he defeated three foreign team lightweight powerhouses.

Hong Sung-chan experienced the lightweight championship match at TFC Korea in 2017. He was undefeated in three fights with two former UFC fighters, including two invalid matches against Takenori Sato (38, Japan) and a unanimous decision win over Wil Chop (33, USA).

The highest points in the mixed martial arts ranking system’Fight Matrix’ are Longju’s 98 points from the 4th quarter of 2020 to the 2nd quarter of 2021, and Hong Seong-chan’s 45 points from the 1st quarter of 2017 to the 3rd quarter of 2018. This means that Longju ranked 46th in the UFC lightweight division and Hong Sung-chan ranked 80th.

There are currently 90 UFC lightweight contracts. It is a confrontation that draws attention to who will advance to the semifinals of Road to UFC, between Longju and Hong Seongchan, both career-high UFC fighters.
