Robert Stark (34), a foreign pitcher for the Doosan Bears last year, found a new MLB team. He expressed his desire to return to the big leagues as a player himself.

Adam McCalby of MLB.com, the official homepage of Major League Baseball, reported on the 27th (Korean time), “The Milwaukee Brewers have signed a minor league contract with Stock.” Stark also received an invitation to big league spring training.

Stark, who made his major league debut in 2018, played for the San Diego, Boston, and New York Mets. Recording an average ERA of 4.71 with 2 wins and 4 losses in 4 seasons, he appeared on the Asian League stage wearing a Doosan uniform ahead of the 2022 season.

With his fastball in the late 150km/h range, Stark raised expectations to the extent that he was chosen as the starting pitcher for the opening game. Despite his injury history, he finished the season with a record of 9-10 with a 3.60 earned run average in 165 innings.

Amidst the team’s performance that fell to 8th place, Stark silently rotated the starting rotation. However, he ranked second in the league in walks (83) and showed regret in terms of pitches. 온라인바카라

Eventually, Doosan removed Stark from the reserve list after the season ended, and Milwaukee took him. Coincidentally, his successor, Dylan Pyle (27), is a case that came over to Doosan from Milwaukee.

Meanwhile, Stark, who returned to the big leagues after two years, expressed his joy through social media. Sharing the news of the contract with Milwaukee, he said, “When I was in Korea, I really hated being called ‘former MLB player’.”
